  1. Yay! Glad yor doctor's appointment went good! Take it easy today, with all of the fireworks. Have a good 4th!πŸŽ‰πŸŽ†

  2. I'm so glad that you have a new plan! Praying that this helps to control the migraines. Have a wonderful 4th!

  3. Hey Jaquie, Great video! Harlow looks sooo cute when she does the down task, when she puts her head in your lap. I was wondering if Harlow has gotten better at doing the barking task without food? If not, how long do you think it will take her to learn? Love your leggings throughout the video. You are definitely looking better and happier more days then you were before the feeding tubes. I was also wondering if you liked Harry Potter because you like Disney. Soz I haven't commented on the recent videos. I'm suffering from pretty bad anxiety and depression but I can always count on you to help😘

  4. Glad your appointment went well. Sending prayers that everything will work out with the insurance. Enjoy your 4th of July.

  5. Happy 4th of July, and also thank you for making my day brighter. I am sick right now added on top of asthma. Not as bad as your conditions but I still feel awful. So thank you for making my day brighter

  6. I noticed that you were giving Harlow hand commands only for spin and speak. (And what a bark that was!!!) What other tasks can she do with hand commands only?

  7. I dunno if you've tried imitrex (sumatriptan) but its really helps my migraines completely vanish when they come on, and for you, you can get injections of it. Of course it may or may not work, for me it does but in my case I'm not struggling with all of these other illnesses. Its just good to have while waiting around for a complete cure and preventative :))

  8. You looked so "WELL" today, You could tell u felt better. I am so happy for u. I had a chronically ill son, and good days turned into great days. All the best for u and your family;)

  9. I'm so happy that you have a new plan and that insurance is starting approve so many things for your health needs. Your dinner looked great by the way!!!! Have a great Fourth of July!!!

  10. I'm glad your Neurology appointment went well and that you got information on your migraines. A successful visit. The feeding has been a great thing.

  11. I don't know much about the insurance you are currently on but I was on Tricare in the past. OMG I loved it. They were so easy to work with and for me they did cover compounded pharmacy. it was my infusion pharmacy that delivered all my feeding supplies as well as all my meds. that may be an option for you. if Tricare is anything like it was a few years ago when I had it you will really like it.

  12. also back in 2010 I had the gastric stimulator and I was worried that I was going to have to go through speaks little most and it would take forever to get approved. that was not my case; within a wk of Dr referral I was having the surgery. referrals for anything: specialists, equipment, procedures, and medication was so much easier to get approved with Tricare. I absolutely loved Tricare. I hope you do too.

  13. Hope you are feeling better.
    Happy 4th of july
Thank you for sharing your life. I wish you and your family blessings

  14. Wentworth is an awesome show! I keep telling everyone about it but it seems like nobody is listening to me!

Hope you are feeling better! Neck pain and headaches triggered by neck are awful and I deal with that almost daily. I have c2-c7 disc herniations, degenerative disc disease and spinal stenosis. My neurosurgeon is trying to get multi-level artificial disc replacement approved by my insurance company but it's been a battle. Since my condition keeps deteriorating, I will probably have to end up with ACDF surgery instead. At this point I don't really care, as long as it helps me start feeling better.

  15. Tricare does cover compounding pharmacies! My mom has gotten a few compounded meds through Tricare Prime.

  16. hey jaquie. glad your getting another treatment for your migraines. I tried that nasal spray before but for me it gave me really bad side effects. but everyone is different so I really hope it works for you.

  17. I have POTS and get migraines as well and I find that regular exercise helps to control my chronic symptoms. For the first few years I found it difficult to regularly exercise though until I found a personal trainer who specialized in chronic illness exercise! I've found that pilates reformers are the best for me and now I have a much easier time to regularly exercise. Idk if it would help you but chronic illness personal trainers are great if you wanted to look into it!

  18. I'm watching this on the 4th and I wanted to say thank you Judd for serving so we can celebrate today. Jaquie congrats on getting the meds you need! Also please hug Judd extra for all his service

  19. Yay jaquie bet the chronic illnesses so happy you get to get the spray thank hod been praying for ya not that you need it but just an extra umph if you will

  20. I haven't finished watching the video but I too struggle with POTS and I have chronic migraines vertigo and nausea so i very much feel what you go through! I still have bad vertigo and nausea but I was able to help somewhat stop my migraines with Botox. I'm not sure if you have tried it or not but it really helped me!

  21. Hoping and praying you can get those migraines under control with the new treatment!! Excited to see so many things that are working to make you live your life to the fullest!! Lots of gentle hugs from me and Lady! Happy 4th of July to you, Harlow, and Judd!!

  22. I wonder if it would help for now to crush your preventative anyway and take it orally but liquified? Would that maybe make digesting/absorbing it at least a tiny bit easier for your stomach?

  23. I'm glad you got a new plan for your migraine! I get a lot of headaches too. I don't have GI problems but my meds aren't working idk why. anyways that meal looked so good! I guess you was able to handle it? good luck getting your medicine approved!

  24. I'm so glad to hear that you have new ways of treating your migraines. The one you had earlier this week did not look fun at all. I can see that it's a constant battle to manage symptoms from a host of chronic illnesses and I really respect that you are a ceaseless advocate for your health, while supporting Judd and your family in every way possible. πŸ’–

  25. I watch your videos hoping you say something that can help me. Which you have explained diseases the doctors say I have then you say it and I'm like yup all of those symptoms I have

  26. I get frequent migraines too. I know a lot of people on the spectrum get them too and I'm wondering if it's common for autistics.

  27. GREAT NEWS JACKIE! Hope everyone here enjoys today, and remember to get to a safe quiet spot if possible! Thanks Judd for helping to keep us safe😊 noise canceling headphones FTW!

  28. I don't know if it will help but they do make special mirrors and so on for those who can't turn their neck when driving

  29. You look like you are doing better!! 😊
I am curious how it works with you changing insurances. last I knew, most insurances don't cover pre-existing conditions. is that not the case anymore? I am super glad you are able to change!

  30. So there is something i wanted to ask for awhile now. Its personal i know. And i don't want you to be upset about it or anyone else.
But with the tube in your body Is it hard to be intimate with your husband/partner or not?

  31. Hi, I'm new to your channel, and I just wanted to know if you've ever tried natural treatments from an herbalist? I know most people don't trust natural treatments, but it could be worth a try if it won't conflict with your current meds.Β
I've gone to many doctors trying to figure out what's wrong with me. I had severe stomach pains, joint pain, migraines, nausea, hallucinations, immune attacks, rash, weakness, etc when I was 17. The last doctor I went to was an idiot who said all these symptoms were in my head within 2 minutes of talking to me and without even doing any tests.
After that I went to an herbalist and for the first time I was able to learn what was wrong with me. I have severe allergies to wheat, soy, nuts, dairy, eggs, carrots, apples, onions, beans, bananas, and perfume (a long list, I know lol). Just staying away from those allergens made all my symptoms go away :), and the herbalist gave me herbs to heal the damage to my organs. Every doctor I went to diagnosed me incorrectly and I wasted so much time and money. I know your case is different, but it can't hurt to give natural treatments a try.

  32. I love your positivity! Because of you, I made this recipe tonight and it's absolutely delicious! Thank you for the inspiration! πŸ™‚

  33. Judd.. didn't do a very good job at faking about liking dinner. lol. I think it looked delicious though!!!

  34. Hey there! My insurance won't cover my compounded medication for my pump but the compounding pharmacy put me in touch with a program that pays for it since it's necessary for my wellbeing. I get a 20ml syringe every 5-6 weeks depending on when I activate my bolus'. Each syringe is about $4,000.00 and I don't have to pay anything. You might want to ask around because the worst they can do is say no. Good luck!

  35. Obviously it's better to get liquid form of your meds to use in your tube, but what I did when I had the dangler gj tube because it always clogged as I couldn't get some of my meds liquid at first, I would crush the pill into a super fine powder with a certain pill crusher and then use warm water to dissolve it in. That way most of the med is completely dissolved in the water so it's not gonna clog as easily. Then I always flush with water about 5 times haha just to make sure it's good. Just a thought for if you are in need of a med in between the switch of insurances and can't get the liquid. 😊also, do all of your doctors prescribe IV meds easily? I'm in Florida also but none of mine want to give me at home nausea meds even though I have a port and idk how to bring it up to them. I don't absorb in my stomach either so no nausea med works unless it's IV or crushed and through my tube, but those make me sleepy haha

  36. The orzo looks really yummy and I love your slippers, they're so cute! I'm so glad your insurance is working out.

  37. I'm a chronic patient and I don't want to go into all my personal details but I do suffer from severe chronic migraines that leave me hospitalized and they're miserable. I wanted to let you know that I have TRICARE and TRICARE Does cover compounded medical, you should have no problem. There are different levels of coverage for TRICARE like Standard, Prime and TRICARE for life which is what I have because after retirement that's the plan I fell under. I can honestly say I've never in all my years of having TRICARE had any real problems with them. My coverage is great and the people are always so nice and really helpful.

  38. you are looking so much healthier since your feeding tube placement! im so happy you are getting all the help and care you need and i wish u the best in the world !

  39. Just wanted to say u r awesome…I too have crappy health issues/syndrome… and my dog is pretty much the most important thing (besides family!)

  40. man, it makes me angry that insurance is practicing medicine by not allowing you the medicine your require. They should just approve what your doctor prescribes. I really hope that you don't have to have anything appealed. I hope that it is all smooth, because you deserve a season of ease. Thanks for the update, I am rooting for you to have improved health!

  41. I don't understand the US insurance system but I'm pleased your new plan covers liquid meds. Lisa and I are big Wentworth fans, we're watching series five here in the UK.

  42. This is such a useful video with loads of information that's relevant to me. I'm on a preventative med crushed in my J tube and IV toradol to abort migraines. Nice to know I'm not the only one working around these GI / gastroparesis limitations. Thanks for sharing your experience!

  43. I'm a candidate for the new cgrp migraine (in my case also cluster headache attacks) treatment study and I'm really excited to find out whether I'll be able to handle it…Bit scared too…have you tried it yet? And if so is it helping?

  44. Harlow appeared concerned at the beginning. For a moment I thought she was going to alert you.
2:12 That was a good bark.

  45. Hi jaquie I just wanted to ask a question. so I was wondering does hippo react or alert you when you are about to have a migraine or is she not trained for this.? I get frequent migraines 2-3 times a week, the doctors have tried everything they can to make them reduce but nothing works. I would love a dog who could tell me when I am about to have a migraine so I can start to control it before it gets really painful. But I am not sure if this is possible. could you give me some advice please I love you.

  46. I'm so scared because I just got out of the hospital because I had a migraine that was non stop for a whole month and I had to stay the weekend at the hospital. In a week I have a appointment with a neurologist to see what is wrong. I watched this video and it kinda just gives me like hope kinda😊😊😊
