  3. Cute haircut, Lesley! Everyone around me is suffering from back pain but I keep it at bay bc I practice with you and keep my back flexible and strong. Thanks, Lesley!

  4. Thank you 🙏I started with yoga because I had a lot of back pains about 2 1/2 years ago. Sooo in love with yoga from the start. And my back is so much better 🥰

  5. Love the new haircut! This video was great for me, I'm in the second trimester of pregnancy and not feeling back pain but looking to prevent it from starting. Thank you!

  7. I read a post online and the woman blamed yoga for causing her back problems. I asked if she told the teacher and, despite spinal problems (degenerative disc disease) running in her family, she didn't have any issues at the time so didn't say anything. What style of yoga was she doing to cause severe loss of lordosis and spinal stenosis? Personally I think she's been doing a style of yoga that's not suited to her body and has maybe been a bit competitive. I'd love to hear your opinion Lesley. I discovered yoga after being diagnosed with severe spinal stenosis and it does wonders for my pain. I have degenerative disc disease from l3 to s1 and the stenosis is l5 – s1 and I've got retrolisthesis. I've always listened to my body and I left my ego at the door. I've had issues since I was 18. I nearly ended up in a wheelchair because I had cuada equina syndrome when I was 27. Yoga is the first thing that genuinely helps my pain and I'm so grateful for that. On another note I'm halfway to stopping my tramadol, my pain has actually improved and that's the first module of my YTT come in the post! Need to get in gear and get studying. I've said it before, but I'm so grateful for you Lesley and a few other great yoga teachers on here, I've learned so many things from all of you! Love and light 🧘‍♀️💜🧘‍♀️💜
p.s I get quite defensive when people criticise yoga because I know when done properly, like any exercise regime, it does good, not harm, and they don't know what they're talking about!

  8. I don't have any lower back issues, but this was nice as a relaxing evening class 😊 Love the new haircut! 💗🙏🏻

  9. I love her voice so much, there's so many videos I can't due because of the voice.
This was a wonderful workout, for myself I have such tight hamstrings that it gets hard to stretch the legs properly.
