(upbeat instrumental music) – Hey guys, Dr. Eric Smith, your downtown Chicago chiropractor, talking about what’s going
on right now down here, which is the cold
season, so winter season. This is one of the times that
we get a lot more patients, so I wanted to talk a little bit today about how you can avoid getting neck pain and some other issues that are gonna come from
it being colder outside. What we see is typically everyone’s putting their jackets on, gettin’ cold, not used to havin’ to bust
out that winter jacket, and then you see them raise
their shoulders up like this, and doing this putting
their head more forward, and having all these other issues. Well, that tends to create a
lotta tension up in your neck, and when you get more tension in your neck and it’s more forward, it’s gonna create a lot more neck pain. And over this time that
you’re feeling like this, now you may be going to work
and gonna sit at a desk, or you’re gonna be on your cell phone. You’re gonna be doing a
lotta different things that are gonna create
even a worse posture, and then it’s gonna
