This week we have a giveaway from Knitter’s
Pride. I have two double-pointed needle sets to give
away in their new ginger needles. These needles are pretty great. They’ve quickly become my go-to needles. I have a lot of needles to choose from, but
I really like these. The one thing I’m really excited about with
this set is they’ve really outdone themselves with the cases on these ginger needles. But the size range of these double pointed
needles is U.S. zero to nine, which is huge. Zero to nine or metric size 2.0 to 5.5. How many sizes is that? One, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12. Twelve different sizes, let’s look at these. We have this awesome case. And inside, here are all of the needles. And there are two sets missing because I’m
using them. This is my personal set and they are a really
nice length of laminated birch wood. These are six-inch long needles. Like I said, these have become my go-to, my
favorites. I really like the point on them. I like the sleekness of them. I like the fact that I have so many needles
in one case. And in the little pocket, we get a needle
gauge to check your needle size, which isn’t totally necessary with these needles because
the size is printed on the side and a little baggie of stitch markers, which is a nice
bonus. All goes in the pocket there and it would
snap closed if I didn’t have the stitch markers in the way. Okay. And the case is awesome, keeps everything
protected. Is there anything else I need to say about

  13. Hope I win the DPN !! I am self taught and soo very happy Ive learned to make socks!! I found some tiny 0 size and have been using those to make socks to send to my son in the service. If i won those needles i would retire the bent ones that Im using and and be in yarn heaven with those beautiful Ginger needles!!! My son would have the warmest toes in Iraq. Sometimes I gift them and they are " dream socks" to wear at night. ( I put a little lavender in them) 🙂 Yay for the give away!! Good Luck to all!

  16. My foster grandmother is turning 84, and she taught me how to knit when I was a teen. If I win a set, I’ll give it to her for her upcoming birthday gift. She’s chronically ill and deserves the best in life for raising three kids. She hasn’t knitted in a few years due to her health but has been inspired by my knitted projects I’ve made her. I just want to see her happy again and enjoying life.

  18. Staci, any recommendations for really sharp DPNs, preferably made of wood? Would this knitter’s pride set work? Normally I prefer sharp metal circulars for most projects, but I’ve been struggling with these tiny Christmas ornaments because the wooden DPNs I have just aren’t sharp enough. I hesitate to get metal DPNs because I worry my stitches will slide right off when the needle is hanging there. Love your videos, I can’t even count how many times you’ve helped me improve my knitting!!
