♪ Bob and Brad ♪ ♪ The two most famous ♪ ♪ Physical therapists ♪ ♪ On the Internet. ♪ (clapping) What? Okay! – Hi folks, I’m Bob
Schrupp, Physical Therapist. – Brad Heineck, Physical Therapist. – And we’re the most
famous physical therapists on the Internet. – In our own opinion, of course, Bob. – Today, we’re going to talk about my, it’s all about me, my three-step approach to stop neck, shoulder, and trap pain. Plus, we’re doing a giveaway! – I would, I would have never guessed Bob. Are you ready? – Yeah. If you’re new to our channel, please take a second to subscribe to us. We provide videos on how to stay healthy, fit, pain-free, and we upload every day. Also, yes. You want to join us today on Facebook, or on our channel, bobandbrad.com. Because we’re doing a giveaway. We’re giving away the
Thermotex Infrared Heat System. Basically. – Which we’re going to talk more about in just a minute or two. – We’re going to talk about
in just a minute, right. You can also see it on Facebook; it’ll be pinned to the top of the page. Bob and Brad. – Right. We’re on Instagram now too, as well. – Yeah, Instagram. Stop in.
– And Twitter. So, this all started Brad, as you know, we’re working on a book. Sciatica. As in how to treat sciatica. And I kind of got away from having to work on the computer so much, because we have other people
editing our videos now. So suddenly I had to
go input an hour or two in a row at the computer. And I started getting typical pain. If you want to turn around, Brad. So, I get a lot of in
this sub-occipital area. Right there, almost get those headaches. And I get it up in the upper traps, and even between the shoulder blades here. And I mean, I really work on my posture, and I have a stand-up desk. So, between the two, I thought, I wouldn’t get it, but I still get these, this pain. I think part of it, you know, I have bifocals, and I end up going like this. – I bet you there’s times
that if your wife walked by she would catch you. – I have a mirror though,
even, so I can look look over at myself.
– Oh you do? Wow. – Yeah, don’t get into
any weird stuff near me. So anyway, I’m just going to tell you. I’ve tried lots of things. I tried just doing the self-massage, I tried using the Thera Cane. – Oh yeah.
– Which does help. And all these things I did helped. Yeah, you wanna show? You can work on the knots. Yep. And it all helped. I was doing stretches. But the only thing that
actually worked every time, and it worked most preventatively, and it also worked as a treatment, was the Thermotex. – So, we’re talking about – – The thing that we’re
actually giving away today. So this is Thermotex: infrared heat, and the reason
we like this heat system over just the conventional heat system
– Sure. – Is a conventional heat system, you want to show on the, I think this is ours. – Yep. – Quick presentation here. – So it goes in,
basically about skin-deep. – The regular heat just goes in, if you can see the representation there. – That blue line, right on the end? – Oh, your shirt’s the same color. (laughs) Let’s get it on me so. – You’ve got a blue shirt too. – I’ve got a light blue though. So you can see the dark blue there. Now, compare that to how deep Thermotex infrared heat will go. – It doesn’t matter if it’s
in front of a blue shirt, you can see there’s a
tremendous difference. – 2.36 inches, and if you can imagine, that starts getting into the
joints of the back itself. You know it’s not just the surface. It’s going through the
muscles into the joints. – Right. – I can just tell you, I think it does two things. One thing, when they first
came out with this device, we said you know it would be
nice if you could strap it on. But the two thing is, it holds it in place while I’m working. – Right. – But the second thing is, these straps actually pull my shoulders back into good posture. – I mean they’re not so strong
as cutting off circulation, but it reminds you that. – Oh, it pulls you back even a little bit. If you go like this, I mean you’re right. You can go against it. But it really does remind
you to stay in place. – Right, yep. – This is the thing that works for me. I like the fact that it has, what did we decide, an eight-foot cord? – Yeah, eight-foot cord, and if you need to get up to walk around, it’s easily, you can detach it. – Yeah, you have a fair
amount of length already, but I just do this and then, it takes like five,
ten minutes to heat up. So a lot of times I’ll just leave it on all the time, the cost is only pennies
a day to run this thing. Brad and I use these, I mean I always have to
take it from my chair downstairs where I’m watching TV. – Oh right, yeah. – Because all winter long, especially, I have it on. – It is, it’s really nice in the winter. Up in Minnesota. – Yeah. – And Wisconsin.
– Yep. Well, I mean the other
things I do along with this, that is, I mean, I’ll do some chin tucks. Again, that’s going to get that area right in the sub-occipital area there, that really at the base of your skull. That’s going to stretch
that out a little bit. So I’m doing chin tucks, I might even do a little over-pressure. And then I definitely
do shoulder shrugs too. And that helps get that pain in-between the shoulder blades. So, it’s a great company, we’ll have a link below, for to sign up for the giveaway, but we’ll also have a link
if you want to go ahead and purchase one right away. If you purchase one, we have a percentage off. A decent percentage off, I don’t remember what it is. – If you go through our link, they’ll have it up for you. – And if you end up winning one, they’ll reimburse you, if you had already bought one. People are really happy with this when they get it. – They are, commercially great, they’ll last forever. They’re much better of a quality. – Yeah, we’ve had this for years already. I got one for my aunt
who has fibromyalgia, and she uses it all the time. The other thing, and this is really going off topic here, Brad, but my wife, and other people have said, it works really well for cramping. If you’re – – Yeah, we did do a video on that. – We did do a video on it. My wife is always looking for it, when it comes that time. – They do have specific ones, if you want just for your feet, they’re shaped for your feet. Knees, et cetera. But this one’ll last you. – The hands, even. – Yeah, so. This one will actually do all the parts. Not as quite as convenient. – It’s universal, so. It’s the platinum model,
they should know that. – Yeah, there you go. – Thanks everybody for watching.

  1. Meh. OK, and of course good at explaining a few things you can do for shoulder pain. DID YOU EVER think of putting links to 1-2 videos which show specific exercises for whatever the topic is for the day, especially if you are not going to show them much, as in this video? I think people would be most appreciative! ๐Ÿ™‚ Thanks, guys! This will be the last cold, snowy weekend for snow I bet! (maybe).

  2. You guys have a lot to offer people. All the sales pitches and give away stuff really detracts for me. Oh well, the unsubscribe button works. Bye guys.

  3. can you please help me. my boyfriend has this weird thing where he can not lay his hands flat. he can if he really puts a lot of pressure but it is uncomfortable for him. hes not flexible anywhere in his body so could that be affecting his hands? should we be doing certain stretches or go to a doctor? thanks

  4. Great video as usual! Ppl w chronic pain are very picky about ice and heat packs. Very helpful video and we can trust recommendations from u guys.

  5. I haven't been watching you for a long time, but the time I have been watching your technics have helped me tremendously. Boy I think that infrared would be a great help to me and my daughter who works at UPS lifting and loading packages all day. Love your help love your videos. …..sincerely Maggie B.

  6. Awesome channel
Can you guys please do a video on RLS (restless leg syndrome)?
Also how to go about if you been bed ridden for a year or more?
    Will really appreciate it ๐Ÿ‘

  7. Please no more cutting like that. Your videos were fine, no need to edit like a vlogger catered to people with no attention span

  8. ohh this looks something I need with both c6 and c7 spinous process fractures. but coldnt find it in Turkey.

  9. Wow, there are way too many video cuts. I feel like I'm having a seizure watching your videos anymore. I like the shorter videos, but yikes, not like that! Do you guys watch these before you put them out? Love your channel, but it's getting hard to watch. ๐Ÿ™ I don't want to hurt your feelings, but I felt I needed to say something because it's been bothering me for a while.

  10. @bob and brad Can you do a video about stock clerks, how to pick up/consequences on lifting wrong? And exercises to fix/heal those main parts. Your the best channel around, I hope one day you can help fix a broken heart ๐Ÿ’” ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝ

  11. The thermotex comes with just one short strap and one long one. I don't see any way to wear it the way Bob has it on, which looks like two long straps.

  12. Way too much jumpy editing going on! I could feel my neck and shoulders tensing up, so had to stop watching ๐Ÿ™

  13. I swear by infra red heat. I use the heat lamp from the chicken coop and attach it to a floor lamp stand. I aim the bulb at my knee injury. It provides the soothing and deep heat that I am looking for. The thermotex would be ideal for my upper back and easier than contorting under that bulb arrangement.
