Let’s talk about what to expect during your initial office visit. The first time you come
in, and as Sarah said before, you’ll fill out some paperwork and we’ll use that as a
basis to work from, but we’ll also conduct an interview with you. And we’d tell people
to allow about an hour and a half to two hours on that initial visit because depending on
how complicated your situation is the interview can take a little longer possibly. Of course,
we will do an acupuncture treatment in that initial visit, and big question always is,
“Does it hurt?” The pat answer is “No, it doesn’t.” Of course, at some point you might
feel a slight pinch. At other points, you might feel once the needle is in, you may
feel some pressure or movement or something of that sort. But all in all, no; it’s not
a painful experience at all. It’s a very, very relaxing experience. Most people comment
